HELEN AMERY

MEM PRACTITIONER

United Kingdom

I work with people who outwardly look like they’re doing great – they have a decent job, often their own business, they run a house, they have family commitments, and they have friends and a social life. On the outside it looks like everything’s good. But inside it doesn’t feel like that. Inside it feels like it’s going wrong, and something needs to change.

What I’ve seen is that my clients who are in this situation are then in one of these two groups:

  1. They’re over-working, over-giving and taking on far too much responsibility. Busy all the time with no idea how to stop because then it feels like things will go wrong. And they’ll be to blame.
  2. They’re unmotivated. They’ve lost their mojo. Their spark. They feel like they’re dragging themselves through life. Feeling like they should be doing more but they just can’t access the energy or drive they used to have.

The Mace Energy Method helps with both of these.

I was in the first group. My name’s Helen, and I used to be addicted to over-giving. I felt like there was something wrong with me – although I never really knew that was the problem until after Mace. What I did experience was self-doubt. Questioning whether I was doing the right thing. Questioning what other people would think of what I was doing. Questioning what they would think about me – whether they would like me for doing it, or get upset with me, or cross with me. Second guessing. Over thinking. Over complicating. Essentially looking to cues from the outside – for someone else to validate me and tell me I was doing the right thing – rather than knowing it for myself. And in this desperate attempt to get it right for other people I was then doing and giving far too much of me. Spending far too much time trying to please others. And then getting frustrated that ‘they’ weren’t giving more back to me in gratitude for everything I was doing for them. I thought they were so rude, ignorant, ungrateful.

But maybe you’re in the second group. My clients who’ve lost their mojo find that they ‘should’ on themselves a lot. You should be doing this. You should be doing that. Why haven’t you done this? You should be like you used to be. What’s happened to you? When are you going to get your act together? All that kind of stuff. And so they feel lethargic. Sometimes they can sleep easily, and yet still feel tired. They’re pushing their way through. Forcing, efforting, trying. Including trying to make other people do things they ‘should’ be doing too. And feeling bad because it looks like they have everything they could ever want, but they don’t feel good about any of it. They just want their life, their power, and aliveness back.

There was an instant yes when I heard about Mace – both to help me, and to train as a practitioner. I’ve spent years in self-development and spiritual exploration, looking for ways to go deeper and deeper, to resolve the frustrations and doubts in my life, and in the lives of my clients. All I wanted was to feel at ease and comfortable within myself. And Mace has made that fully possible.

It gets to the root cause of the negative thoughts and feelings you have about yourself. It cleans up all the emotional baggage you’ve collected through your life. As one of my clients said, ‘The only way I can describe it is I feel cleansed’.

And the even better news is you can go straight to Mace as the solution.

I took the long route round. Starting in psychology-based coaching, I’d tried to reframe my thoughts and learn positive beliefs. It worked for a while, but it took a lot of effort, and then my reactivity just kept showing up with my kids instead. This took me into a spiritual exploration and the recognition that there was something much deeper about who I am than just being this person. It was life-changing. But there were a lot of areas of life that I still didn’t like and wanted to change.

So then I moved to work with emotions. Getting in direct contact with how they felt in the body. Using approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS) to try and include and bring harmony on the inside. And using traditional energy work modalities to clear the unwanted experiences. This had some effect…but in fact what all this really did was reveal the negative identity that was sitting underneath it all, driving the whole thing. And it was still driving the whole thing.

Which was when I discovered the Mace Energy Method. I could see it was the most direct and deep approach I’d ever come across – getting to the specific source of the problem and guaranteeing results, without the need for all those years of excavation that I’d done. This was exactly what I was looking for.

Want to know more about me?

I’m a mum of two teenagers, living in the East Midlands in the UK, with my husband, my kids, a cat and a bearded dragon. I started in corporate HR before becoming a self-employed coach in 2014 – first in leadership, and then, once my spiritual exploration began, I changed to work with individuals – they were people like me who wanted to be relieved of their human suffering.

I co-authored the book “The Complete Book of Awakening” in 2022, and continue to work with my partner in that business, guiding people in their awakenings and broader spiritual journeys.

In my own business – Wild Fig Solutions – my focus has always been on finding the most root-cause ways to clear up our human conditioning. To clear out the clutter and let more innate energy and enjoyment flow in our lives. Now Mace provides the perfect way to do that.

I look forward to getting you back in charge of your life – feeling alive and making a difference.

CLIENT STORIES

The results were nothing short of transformative. My energy has quite literally been on fire!

This surge of vitality led to something unexpected – a deep decluttering of my home.

I’ve cleared out years of accumulated items from my spare room, organised cupboards and wardrobes, and donated countless items to charity.

It’s been incredibly cathartic.

Women’s Empowerment Coach and Mum

I came into the Mace Energy Method meeting with an open mind as to what effects I would experience. I’d been struggling with upheaval in family life, work, and finances. I felt deflated and wanted to get my motivation back.

I left the meeting feeling mentally cleansed and unexpectedly happier than I have been for many years.

I would definitely recommend it (and already have) to friends and colleagues who want to rid themselves of negative identities and perceptions stored in their psyche.

Since my Foundation Sessions, I’ve experienced more creativity and flow. I feel like I’m experimenting more. Cutting loose like I used to when I was younger. I’ve spent so much less time second-guessing, and I’ve had a really consistent experience of enjoyment. I feel more settled into myself, with so much less of the constant worry there used to be.

In fact, I had a great example to show how it used to be compared to now. A client cancelled partway through their programme this time last year. At that time, there was a visceral fear reaction. A panic. But last week, I had almost the exact same experience, with a client saying they didn’t want to continue their programme and there wasn’t that feeling of abandonment. There was no feeling that I’d screwed up. There was no stickiness. There was sadness, but I’ve enjoyed working with him. But then the most amazing thing. We met to close things off properly and had the richest session that added value and had him go off well prepared for what he’s doing next. That would never have been possible last year.

Thank you, Helen!

Leadership Coach and Mum

I’ve spent 20 years in serious self-development.

Every modality I experimented with was useful, nudging me closer to freedom.

Yet still there was an undercurrent I couldn’t shift, a nagging doubt that I wasn’t worth loving.

I was pretty sure I knew where it had started, and I also knew logically that it wasn’t true. I have lots of people in my life who love me, but it still hung around, taking the shine off my experience in subtle ways.

I’m amazed and delighted to say that the Mace method took that tarnish away. I still remember laughing afterwards when you asked me if I could say with certainty that I wasn’t lovable, and I literally couldn’t say it anymore.

There was just a solid knowing that it was no longer true for me. Nothing short of astonishing!

Since the Mace sessions, I’ve felt my perspective shift in subtle ways and in lots of places that I wasn’t expecting.

It’s a gentle, growing sense of peace. Thank you.

I can’t explain it, but it feels different. Like, there’s a lack of charge in things that would have been a trigger.

The same things are happening, but they’re not having the same effect.

There’s much less self-attribution with what’s going on. It feels like everything’s just happening. In the past, I’d have been saying to myself ‘that shouldn’t happen’ or saying to myself ‘why’s that happening?’. I’m now feeling so much less in my head. It all feels a lot lighter.

And that now means I dream about what could be, instead of thinking about what’s already gone.

It’s changed how I’m carrying myself and how I’m being. And people have commented on it. There’s this quiet confidence. And an obviousness–like, why would I not feel this quiet confidence? There’s vulnerability without it feeling like I’m being vulnerable – I’m just sharing authentically. And I’m able to stay present and centred when there’s a potential for conflict. I can see the whole picture, the context, my part in it, their part in it. And I can stay in open communication about it. Instead of reacting and shrinking away.

Mace has been a significant game changer for me. I have been pleasantly surprised by how my executive powers have gone through the roof!

I am so much clearer about what I want to do and just get on with getting it done without that sense of resistance I used to experience.

Thanks so much.
